Whistleblowing Policy

Purpose

This policy provides guidance to employees and others associated with the organisation on how to report concerns and wrongdoing within the organisation, without fear of retaliation. We are committed to maintaining an ethical and transparent work environment, where individuals can raise concerns about potential misconduct, malpractice, or illegal activity.

Scope

This policy applies to all employees, contractors, volunteers, and other associated persons within the Validera Ltd. This policy also covers the reporting and investigation of concerns and wrongdoing.

Policy Statement

Validera Ltd encourages employees and others associated with the organisation to raise concerns about potential misconduct, malpractice, or illegal activity. All reports will be taken seriously and handled promptly, confidentially, and impartially. We will not tolerate retaliation against whistle blowers.

Reporting Channels

There are three channels for reporting concerns and wrongdoing:

  • Directly to the manager or supervisor

  • A member of Validera Ltd’s Board

  • Our external HR Support team.

All reports must be made in good faith and contain as much information as possible, including dates, times, locations, and names of individuals involved. Where possible we will keep the identity of whistle blowers confidential, subject to legal requirements and the need to investigate the concern.

Investigation

All reports will be investigated promptly, impartially, and confidentially. The investigation will aim to establish the facts and determine the appropriate course of action. The whistle blower will be informed of the outcome of the investigation to the extent possible.

Retaliation

We will not tolerate retaliation against whistle blowers. Any employee or other associated person who retaliates against a whistle-blower will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment or association with the Validera Ltd.
